As the season winds down, let's take a look at some players who started their careers at Duke before transferring to another school.  While such players are not updated here regularly, their seasons are usually summarized.
Jamal Boykin returned to the same country, but with a different team, to start the season as he joined the Shinshu Braves Warriors, who were placed in the second division in Japan's newly restructured league system.  Jamal played well, but midway through the season, he moved back to another familiar country, joining struggling Braunschweig in Germany.  Jamal provided his usual energy and scoring off the bench as the team was able to stay in the top division.

Eric Boateng started the season without a team, but ended up re-signing with his team from last season Blois as they played in France's second division after he helped them win promotion from the third division in the previous season.  Eric played the same role for the team, crashing the boards and playing a complementary role on offense as the team adapted well to their first time at this level, falling just short of the playoffs that would have given them a chance to fight for another promotion.

As the season winds down, let's take a look at a player who started her career at Duke before transferring to another school.  While such players are not updated here regularly, their seasons are usually summarized.  Chelsea Hopkins returned to Maccabi Ramat Hen, again proving to be the best all-around point guard in Israel.  The team had a championship aspirations again, but fell short against the team that also plagued them last year.  Chelsea's passing and other statistical contributions were noticed as she was given another chance in WNBA training camp, but she did not make the final cut.
