On Saturday, the first battle between two former Duke players took place in Australia with Kathleen Scheer and the Sydney University Flames hosting Jess Foley and the Adelaide Lightning. The game was close throughout with Kathleen hitting a three pointer and completing a three point play to close a gap at the end of the third quarter. Jess had a good fourth quarter, finding her scoring touch and making the shot that would give Adelaide the lead for good late as they won 85-82.
