On Monday, Chelsea Gray and Abdullah Gul University returned to domestic league play and beat Girne University 84-82.  Chelsea had 23 points in 33 minutes.  LaToya Pringle/Lara Sanders had 18 points and 6 rebounds and Jelena Dubljevic had 10 points.  In the loss, ex-Rutgers player Cappie Pondexter had 26 points and 6 rebounds and ex-Utah player Leilani Mitchell had 26 points.

DeMarcus Nelson and Lyon-Villeurbanne had Game 2 of the Basketball Champions League Quarterfinals in Spain as they visited Canarias.  The result of the first game meant that no complex math was required for this game with whichever team winning advancing to the next round.  The team had the chance to close an early deficit, but could not do so, losing 61-51 in the game and being elimnated on aggregate by a 123-113 margin.  DeMarcus had 4 points in 22 minutes before fouling out.  Walter Hodge had 15 points.

On Monday, Monique Currie and her team finished a dominant season in South Korea after sweeping the Finals with an 83-72 overtime Game 3 win.  Monique had 2 points in 4 minutes.  Jonquel Jones had 27 points and 25 rebounds.  In the loss, ex-Indiana player Kim Roberson had 12 points, 8 rebounds, and 7 assists.  Monique has been one of the league's top players for several seasons and was an obvious draft pick again.  The team used their other pick on a promising rookie and the risk paid off as the combination of the two of them helped them overwhelm other teams in the regular season and make the path to the title much easier.

On Wednesday, Carlos Boozer and Guangdong completed the sweep against Sichuan with a 119-97 win in Game 3 of the Quarterfinals.  Carlos had 19 points and 11 rebounds in 31 minutes.  Donald Sloan had 26 points, 7 rebounds, and 6 assists and Yi Jianlian had 20 points and 9 rebounds.  In the loss, ex-Rice player Mike Harris had 11 points and 13 rebounds and ex-NBA player Hamed Haddadi had 11 points and 12 rebounds.

Shavlik Randolph and Liaoning took the Quarterfinals lead against Guangsha with a 117-100 Game 3 win.  Shavlik had 15 points and 6 rebounds in 28 minutes.  Lester Hudson had 33 points and 6 rebounds.  In the loss, ex-Arkansas player Courtney Fortson had 28 points and 7 assists and ex-Detroit player Eli Holman had 13 points and 6 rebounds.

DeMarcus Nelson and Lyon-Villeurbanne visited Greece in the Basketball Champions League as they faced Aris in the Round of 16, getting the rare tie 67-67 in the two-legged series format.  DeMarcus had 10 points in 35 minutes.  Adrian Uter had 14 points and 12 rebounds and Nikola Dragovic had 10 points.  For the opposition, ex-Temple player Will Cummings had 21 points.

Daniel Ewing made his Basketball Champions League debut as Neptunas made the Round of 16 trip to Germany, losing to Ludwigsburg 73-61.  Daniel led his team with 14 points in 29 minutes.  In the win, ex-Notre Dame player Jack Cooley had 19 points and 12 rebounds and ex-South Carolina player Rocky Trice had 15 points.
