On Wednesday, Oderah Chidom was not in the lineup as Celje hosted Ragusa of Croatia in the Adriatic Association League and won 99-41.  Oderah signed in Slovenia to start her professional career.

Haley Peters and Lyon-Villeurbanne lost to Mondeville 70-67.  Haley had 14 points and 7 rebounds in 38 minutes.  Rebecca Allen had 12 points and 7 rebounds.  In the win, ex-Utah player Kim Smith had 13 points and 10 rebounds and WNBA player Steph Talbot had 12 points.

On Friday, Mistie Bass and the University of Canberra Capitals started their season with a 93-80 win over the Bendigo Spirit.  Mistie returns to playing after having her first child, opting to head to Australia.  Her teammates include ex-Nebraksa player Jordan Hooper, ex-WNBA player Rachel Jarry, ex-St. Mary's player Kate Gaze, ex-Monmouth player Chevannah Paalvast, and ex-SMU player Keely Froling.  In this game, she had 10 points in 21 minutes.  Hooper had 18 points and Gaze had 14 points.  In the loss, ex-Nebraska player Kelsey Griffin had 22 points, ex-Rutgers player Betnijah Laney had 19 points, and ex-Minnesota player Rachel Banham had 10 points.

On Saturday, Jasmine Thomas and Orman started their season with a 83-65 loss to Fenerbahce.  Jasmine returns to the team and Turkey after they were relegated several years ago.  Her teammates include ex-Rutgers player Michelle Campbell, who is also known by her Turkish name Melisa Can and rookie Shatori Walker-Kimbrough from Maryland.  In this game, Jasmine had 23 points in 30 minutes.  Campbell had 12 points and 6 rebounds.  In the win, ex-Rutgers player Kia Vaughn had 19 points and rookie Kelsey Plum and ex-WNBA player Ana Dabovic had 14 points each.

Chelsea Gray missed the opening game for Botas after just finishing the WNBA Finals as they lost to Yakin Dogu University 51-48.  Chelsea moved teams in Turkey over the summer and her teammates include ex-UConn player Kiah Stokes, ex-Stanford player Kristen Newlin, who is also known by her Turkish name Nevin Nevlin, and ex-WNBA player Frida Eldebrink.  In this game, Stokes had 18 points and 15 rebounds and Eldebrink had 10 points and 7 rebounds.  In the win, ex-Notre Dame player Kayla McBride had 15 points and 6 rebounds and ex-Gonzaga player Courtney Vandersloot had 13 points.
