On Sunday, Shay Selby finally got to start her season.  After being let go by her last team due to injury concerns, another team in Germany, Rotenburg, did their own medical examination and signed her to a short term contract as an extended tryout.  Her teammates include ex-Texas Tech player Kierra Mallard, former Wisconsin-Milwaukee player Angela Rodriguez, rookie Christa Baccus from Buffalo, Hannah Pakulat, who briefly attended high school in Texas, and ex-West Virginia player Korinne Campbell, who will likely leave the team after her short term contract expires.  In this game, they lost 74-69 to Herner.  Shay had 12 points in 27 minutes.  Mallard had 14 points and 7 rebounds and Rodriguez had 10 points.  In the win, ex-Washington State player Ireti Amojo had 21 points and 7 rebounds, ex-Gonzaga player Sonja Greinacher had 14 points and 11 rebounds, and ex-San Diego State player Quenice Davis had 13 points and 6 assists.
