On Friday, Josh Hairston returned from an injury concern as Norrkoping beat Orebro 86-67.  Josh had 13 points in 23 minutes.  In the loss, ex-Hofstra player Miklos Szabo had 18 points and 10 rebounds.

Haley Peters and Conquero hosted Bembibre and pulled away late to win 67-51.  Haley had 6 points in 13 minutes.  Talia Caldwell had 19 points and 15 rebounds and Adaora Elonu had 16 points and 10 rebounds.

On Saturday, Daniel Ewing and Neptunas had a tough domestic league game against Lietuvos Rytas, holding a lead until fading in the final quarter to lose 72-62.  Daniel led his team with 13 points in 33 minutes.  Jerai Grant had 11 points and 6 rebounds.

Shay Selby and Rotenburg visited Keltern, which was just promoted to the top league, but continued their undefeated start by beating their visitors 83-74.  Shay had 10 points in 27 minutes.  Kierra Mallard had 19 points and 10 rebounds.  In the win, ex-DII player Mara Hjelle had 15 points and 13 rebounds and rookie duo Ashlee Guay and Camille Mahlknecht from Cal State Northridge added 15 points and 7 assists and 10 points and 10 rebounds respectively.

Chelsea Gray and Uni Girona returned to domestic league play against Gipuzkoa and came back to win 67-58.  Chelsea led all scorers with 20 points in 30 minutes.  Artemis Spanou had 11 points and 9 rebounds.  In the loss, ex-Florida State player Cierra Bravard had 16 points and 10 rebounds.

Tricia Liston and Avenida had a tricky domestic league game against newcomers C.R.E.F., but won 82-66.  Tricia had 8 points in 13 minutes.  Astou Ndour had 24 points and 8 rebounds, Gabriela Marginean had 20 points, and Kristine Vitola had 13 points.  In the loss, ex-Virginia player Lyndra Littles had 17 points.

Mistie Bass and Lattes Montpellier faced Bourges in a makeup game when their first league game was rescheduled so the teams could play the Match of Champions.  It was another tough game between the league powerhouses but Lattes Montpellier held on for a 60-55 win.  Mistie had 7 points and 8 rebounds in 26 minutes.  Valeriane Ayayi had 20 points and 6 rebounds.  In the loss, ex-WNBA player Celine Dumerc had 25 points and ex-Nebraska player Danielle Page had 11 points and 8 rebounds.

On Sunday, Shavlik Randolph started his season in China.  After making a name for himself in the league with tremendous performances, Shavlik spent some time back in the NBA, but returns to China with powerhouse Liaoning believing that he might be the final piece of the puzzle for them winning the title.  His other American teammate, former Tennessee-Martin player Lester Hudson, also has a similar story as the team also boasts some of the stronger domestic players.  They started the season with a 109-97 win over Qingdao.  Shavlik had 19 points and 17 rebounds in 29 minutes.  Hudson had 20 points, 9 rebounds, and 7 assists.  In the loss, ex-New Mexico State player Jonathan Gibson had 29 points and rookie Alan Williams from UC Santa Barbara had 18 points and 14 rebounds.

Marty Pocius and Zalgiris returned to domestic league play against Pieno Zvaigzdes, winning 103-74.  Marty led his team with 23 points in 24 minutes.  Ian Vougioukas had 13 points and 8 rebounds and Brock Motum had 13 points.  In the loss, ex-Temple player Ramone Moore had 23 points and 6 rebounds.

DeMarcus Nelson and Monaco faced Strasbourg and lost 85-60 as it may be the last game for him under his short term contract as he looks to join a stronger team.  DeMarcus had 9 points in 19 minutes.  Jamal Shuler had 13 points.  In the win, ex-NBA player Rodrigue Beaubois had 15 points, ex-Missouri State player Kyle Weems had 12 points, ex-Akron player Romeo Travis had 11 points, and ex-Temple player Mardy Collins had 10 points and 8 assists.

Andre Dawkins and Torino lost 93-80 to Cremona.  Andre had 5 points in 20 minutes.  Dawan Robinson had 21 points and Ndudi Ebi had 16 points and 7 rebounds.  In the win, ex-Iowa State player Tyrus McGee had 23 points and 6 rebounds, ex-Texas A&M player Elston Turner had 13 points, and ex-St. Bonaventure player Ogo Adegboye had 12 points.

Monique Currie started her season in South Korea.  With teams drafting foreign players, Monique has now been picked three seasons in a row and joins her third team, the S-Birds, who have a tradition of Duke players.  Teams may only play one of their two foreign players at at time so Monique will be splitting time with ex-North Carolina State player Markeisha Gatling.  They started the season with a 69-68 win over the stars.  Monique had 24 points and 12 rebounds in 28 minutes to grab Game MVP honors as she hit several big shots down the stretch.  Gatling had 10 points and 8 rebounds.  In the loss, rookie Dearica Hamby from Wake Forest had 20 points and ex-Florida State player Natasha Howard had 14 points.

Sheana Mosch finally found out her overseas destination this week as she joined Zaragoza in time for their league game in Spain against Sedis, winning 55-48.  Sheana's teammates include ex-Hawaii player Dita Liepkalne.  Sheana showed her pedigree as an elite scorer by immediately coming in off the bench to provide 10 points in 15 minutes.  In the loss, ex-Lamar player Tamara Abalde had 12 points and 8 rebounds.

Karima Christmas and Venezia had a tough domestic league test against powerhouse Schio, keeping the game close before being sent to overtime, where they lost 82-80.  Karima led all scorers with 27 points and added 8 rebounds in 39 minutes.  Ashleigh Fontenette had 13 points and 6 rebounds.  In the win, ex-Wisconsin player Jolene Anderson had 23 points and 9 rebounds and ex-Cal player Ashley Walker had 11 points and 17 rebounds.
