On the 12th, Chelsea Gray missed the start of Uni Girona's season due to the WNBA season not being finished yet as they played Avenida in the Super Cup semifinals, losing 78-74.  Chelsea returns to the league in Spain with one of her former teams as her teammates include ex-Texas A&M player Adaora Elonu, ex-NAIA player Paola Ferrari, ex-WNBA player Sonja Petrovic, and ex-WNBA player Frida Eldebrink.  Eldebrink had 21 points, Elonu had 11 points, and Ferrari had 10 points.  In the win, ex-Miami player Emese Hof had 16 points and 9 rebounds, ex-Stanford player Karlie Samuelson had 15 points, ex-Oregon player Maite Cazorla had 14 points, and ex-Florida State player Leonor Rodriguez had 13 points.

Last Friday, Antonio Vrankovic and Split started their season with a 79-73 loss to Gorica.  Antonio returns to the same team that he ended last season with in Croatia.  In this game, he had 6 points and 8 rebounds in 17 minutes before fouling out.

Last Saturday, Kendall Cooper started her season as Ifs beat Sceaux 68-56.  Kendall returns to France, where she played her first two professional seasons, joining a team in their third division.  In this game, she had 16 points.  Detailed statistics are generally not available and as a result, we do not anticipate being able to provide the same level of coverage of her games as we do other players here.
 
Last Sunday, Girona started the regular season of the domestic league without Chelsea Gray as they beat Estudiantes 88-78 in overtime.  Frida Eldebrink had 13 points, Adaora Elonu had 12 points, and Sonja Petrovic had 11 points.  In the loss, ex-Minnesota player Leslie Knight had 18 points, ex-JC player Sofia Da Silva had 16 points, and ex-Louisville player Arica Carter had 12 points.

On Thursday, Erin Mathias and Empoli started their season with an 84-67 loss to Reyer Venezia in the quarterfinals of the Super Cup.  Erin returns to the same team in Italy for the third straight season and her teammates include ex-Robert Morris player Ashley Ravelli.  In this game, Erin had 15 points and 6 rebounds in 26 minutes.  Ravelli had 14 points.  In the win, ex-Texas player Yvonne Anderson had 21 points and ex-Wake Forest player Elisa Penna had 12 points.

On Saturday, Kendall Cooper and Ifs beat Trith 67-53.  Kendall had 2 points.

DeMarcus Nelson and Limoges started their season with an 86-75 loss to Nanterre.  DeMarcus signed a two-year contract extension with the team in the summer after returning to France last season and his teammates include ex-UNC player Marcus Ginyard.  In this team, DeMarcus had 10 points in 29 minutes.  In the win, ex-Ole Miss player Chris Warren had 24 points, Isaia Cordinier, the 44th pick in the 2016 Draft by the Atlanta Hawks before his rights were traded to the Brooklyn Nets, had 16 points and 10 rebounds, Alpha Kaba, the 60th pick of the 2017 Draft by the Atlanta Hawks, had 13 points and 7 rebounds, and ex-Southeast Missouri State player Tyler Stone had 11 points.

On Tuesday, DeMarcus Nelson and Limoges beat Gravelines 77-65.  DeMarcus had 12 points, 6 rebounds, and 6 assists in 27 minutes.  In the loss, ex-Citadel player Cameron Wells had 14 points.

On Wednesday, Justin Robinson did not dress as Mornar Bar started their season with a EuroCup trip to Germany to face Ulm, losing 84-76.  Justin is starting his professional career in Montenegro and his teammates include ex-Kansas State player Jacob Pullen, ex-Auburn player Kenny Gabriel, ex-Fairfield player Derek Needham, ex-Seton Hall player Isaiah Whitehead, and ex-Stephen F. Austin player Taylor Smith.  In this game, Whitehead had 25 points, Pullen had 15 points, and Gabriel had 10 points and 9 rebounds.  In the win, ex-Texas player Dylan Osetkowski had 22 points, 7 rebounds, and 6 assists, ex-Cincinnati player Troy Caupain had 18 points, 8 rebounds, and 6 assists, and ex-DII player John Petrucelli had 10 points.
