Duke Basketball Overseas -- part 14 of a season long series

On Tuesday, Nolan Smith and Cedevita Zagreb had a key EuroCup game against
  Bilbao of Spain and managed the home win by an 89-79 margin.  Nolan led
his team  with 13 points in 29 minutes and Tomislav Zubcic added 11 points and 6
  rebounds.  In the loss, ex-NBA player Raul Lopez had 11 points and 6
  assists.

Daniel
  Ewing and Paris-Levallois had a trip to Spain, where Valencia jumped out to an
  early lead to win 98-52.  Daniel had 13 points in 23 minutes as his
scoring  barrage to start the second half was not enough to pull his team back
into the  game.  Maleye Ndoye had 17 points and 6 rebounds.  In the
win, ex-NBA player  Oleksiy Pecherov had 17 points, ex-Xavier duo Romain Sato
and Justin Doellman had 16 points each, and ex-Houston player Oliver Lafayette
had 10  points.

On
  Wednesday, Shelden Williams and Tianjin faced Guangsha and fell 118-115. 
  Shelden had 27 points and 12 rebounds in 36 minutes and Sebastian Telfair had
16  points and 7 rebounds.  In the win, ex-New Mexico State player Jonathan
Gibson  had 42 points, 7 rebounds, and 7 assists and ex-NBA player Johan Petro
had 14  points.

Shavlik Randolph and Foshan had a first half lead on Jilin, but could not
  hold on in the second half as they fell 115-108.  Shavlik had one of his
  toughest games in a while in China and had 6 points and 8 rebounds in 22
  minutes.  Gerald Fitch had 30 points.  In the win, ex-Alabama player
Tony  Mitchell had 38 points and 6 assists, ex-James Madison player Denzel
Bowles had  26 points and 7 rebounds, and ex-DII player Sam Daghles had 11
points, 13  rebounds, and 16 assists.

David McClure and Neptunas looked for another EuroCup win as they
  hosted Finland's Nilan Bisons.  They jumped out to an early lead and had
to  build it up again in the second half as they won 85-72.  David had 3
points in  10 minutes.  In the loss, ex-Providence player Tuukka Kotti had
15 points and 9  rebounds and ex-New Mexico State player Billy Keys and
ex-Cincinnati player John  Williamson also had 15 points each.

Krystal
  Thomas and Perfumerias Avenida made the long trip to Lithuania for a EuroLeague
  Women game at Kibirkstis.  The hosts showed that they were not just in the
  competition to make up the numbers, stunning the visitors 81-64.  Krystal
had 8  points and 9 rebounds in 32 minutes.  Shay Murphy had 16 points and
7 rebounds,  Leonor Rodriguez had 11 points, and Marta Fernandez had 10
points.

On
  Thursday, Alana Beard and Monique Currie squared off with Alana and the Shinhan
  Bank S-Birds taking the final lead in the fourth quarter to beat Monique and
the  KB Stars 72-67.  Alana had 16 points and 7 rebounds in 18 minutes and
Shekinna  Stricklen had 24 points and 9 rebounds.  Monique had 24 points
and 7 rebounds in  30 minutes.

On
  Friday, DeMarcus Nelson and Red Star Belgrade made an important EuroLeague trip
  to Russia to face Lokomotiv Kuban, but could not keep up with hosts in the
final  quarter, losing 79-72.  DeMarcus had 6 points in 31 minutes. 
Blake Schilb had  11 points and 6 assists and Charles Jenkins had 10
points.  In the win,  ex-Xavier player Derrick Brown had 16 points,
ex-UConn player Marcus Williams  had 13 points and 8 assists, and ex-Alabama
player Richard Hendrix had 13 points  and 6 rebounds.

Marty
  Pocius made his return to Real Madrid with Zalgiris Kaunas, but his current
team  just could not keep up with the firepower of his former club as they lost
  95-67.  Marty found his scoring touch in the second half and finished with
9  points in 19 minutes.  Justin Dentmon had 16 points.  In the win,
Nikola  Mirotic, the 23rd pick in 2011 by the Houston Rockets before a pair of
draft day  trades moved his rights to the Chicago Bulls, had 17 points, ex-NBA
player Rudy  Fernandez had 16 points and 7 assists, ex-NBA player Sergio
Rodriguez had 15  points, and Sergio Llull, the 34th pick of the Denver Nuggets
in 2009 before a  draft day trade sent his rights to the Houston Rockets, had 10
points.

Jess
  Foley and the Adelaide Lightning hosted the Bendigo Spirit and could not
  overcome a slow start in an 84-76 loss.  Jess had 15 points in 28 minutes
and  Laura Hodges had 23 points and 8 rebounds.  In the win, ex-Nebraska
player  Kelsey Griffin had 29 points and 10 rebounds.
