Last Saturday, DeMarcus Nelson and Lyon-Villeurbanne beat his former team Monaco 81-71 in Game 1 of the Finals in France.  DeMarcus had 4 points and 6 assists in 24 minutes.  Livio Jean-Charles had 14 points and 7 rebounds, A.J. Slaughter had 13 points, Adreian Payne had 11 points, and David Lighty had 10 points.  In the loss, ex-Georgia State player Eric Buckner had 14 points and ex-Georgia player Gerald Robinson had 13 points.

Last Sunday in Australia, while it was still Saturday in the United States, Kathleen Scheer and the Nunawading Spectres beat the Melbourne Tigers 75-66.  Kathleen had 9 points and 7 rebounds in 36 minutes.  Rachel Antoniadou had 17 points, Rachel Brewster had 14 points and 7 rebounds, and Izzy Chilcott had 12 points and 9 rebounds.  In the loss, ex-St. Mary's player Louella Tomlinson had 13 points and 6 rebounds.

On Thursday, DeMarcus Nelson and Lyon-Villeurbanne lost to Monaco 97-62 in Game 3 of the Finals in France.  DeMarcus had 3 points in 17 minutes.  In the win, ex-Mississippi State player Dee Bost had 23 points, Gerald Robinson had 12 points, and Yakuba Outtara had 11 points.

On Saturday, DeMarcus Nelson and Lyon-Villeurbanne lost to Monaco 89-81 in Game 4 of the Finals in France.  DeMarcus had 18 points in 26 minutes.  Adreian Payne had 11 points and David Lighty had 10 points and 9 rebounds.  In the win, Dee Bost had 19 points and 6 assists, ex-UCLA player Lazeric Jones had 15 points, and Eric Buckner had 11 points and 6 rebounds.

On Tuesday, DeMarcus Nelson and Lyon-Villeurbanne ended the season with Game 5 of the Finals in France, beating Monaco 66-55.  DeMarcus had 4 points in 23 minutes.  A.J. Slaughter had 11 points.  In the loss, Dee Bost and Lazeric Jones each had 13 points.  It was another strong season for DeMarcus with the team as they achieved many of their goals and he is expected to remain with the team for next season.
