Eric Boateng rejoined Saint-Vallier in France's third division, but had most of his season disrupted by injury, including missing the key playoff stage where the team fell short in their quest to win the playoffs for the last spot in the second division.
Olek Czyz had a long recovery from injury, but was finally able to return to action part way through the season with Wloclawek in Poland joining them in time for a thrilling playoff run that saw them win the championship.
