Miela Goodchild returned from youth national team camp for the Townsville Flames as they beat the North Gold Coast Seahawks 90-61. Miela is playing for the team in her local Queensland Basketball League before attending Duke and her teammates include ex-Oregon player Micaela Cocks, ex-Wyoming player Rebecca Vanderjagt, and Portland signee Haylee Andrews. In this game, Miela had 16 points in 23 minutes. Cocks had 20 points and Andrews had 19 points. In the loss, ex-La Salle player Leeza Burdgess had 10 points and 6 rebounds.

Chelsea Hopkins continued her career in Israel, but switched teams as league powerhouse Maccabi Ashdod looked to weaken their competition. While she was not needed for as big of a role as her previous season, she still provided a number of key moments for the team as they won the championship.

Janee Johnson was injured to start the season, but was able to recover to join a team for the new year as she signed for the Stirling Senators in Australia's State Basketball League. Like many other regional leagues in the country, Western Australia runs this league during the offseason of most overseas leagues so her season is ongoing.

Alexis Jones headed overseas after her first WNBA season, starting with Extremadura in Spain. After a strong start there, she signed with Elitzur Ramla in Israel, having a fantastic season in their surprise run to the Finals.
