Duke Basketball Overseas 4/24/17

4/24/2017

Allison Vernerey finished her season last Sunday.  She opted to restart her career, joining Valentigney in France's fifth division.  The league is too far down the pyramid to have regular stats available, but Allison was one of the top players as a third place finish in one of eight divisions at that level was not enough for them to qualify for the next stage of competition, which could have resulted in the team moving up to the fourth division for the next season.

On Monday, Daniel Ewing and Neptunas lost to Prienai 96-89.  Daniel had 8 points and 6 assists in 23 minutes before fouling out.  Chris Lofton had 17 points, Jerai Grant had 15 points and 11 rebounds, and Arvydas Siksnius had 13 points.
