On Tuesday, Josh Hairston and Maccabi Raanana started the playoffs, losing Game 1 of the Quarterfinals to Hod Hasharon 73-69.  Josh had 16 points and 10 rebounds in 37 minutes.  Samme Givens had 15 points and 6 rebounds.  In the win, ex-Loyola Marymount player Vernon Teel had 31 points and 8 rebounds, ex-LSU player Storm Warren had 15 points and 13 rebounds, and ex-Temple player Carmel Bouchman had 11 points and 11 rebounds.

DeMarcus Nelson and Lyon-Villeurbanne lost to Le Portel 82-58.  DeMarcus had 10 points in 28 minutes.  Darryl Watkins had 13 points and 11 rebounds.  In the win, ex-DII player Jakim Donaldson had 15 points and 10 rebounds, ex-Old Dominion player Frank Hassell had 13 points and 13 rebounds, and ex-NAIA player Darrin Dorsey had 13 points and 8 assists.

Kathleen Scheer and the Latrobe Demons beat the Burnie Tigers 97-62.  Kathleen had 25 points and 7 rebounds in 22 minutes.  In the loss, ex-DIII player La'Queda Davis had 19 points and 8 rebounds.

On Wednesday, Daniel Ewing and Neptunas beat Nevezis 90-53.  Daniel had 11 points in 19 minutes.  Arvydas Siksnius had 11 points.  In the loss, ex-Missouri player Vaidotas Volkus had 11 points.

Kathleen Scheer and Kingborough-Huon Kings beat the Glenorchy Spartans 79-62.  Kathleen had 32 points and 10 rebounds in 25 minutes.

Chelsea Gray and Abdullah Gul University faced Yakin Dogu University for the third straight game, needing a five point win in Game 2 of the EuroCup Women Finals.  They had that margin for most of the game, but the hosts surged in the fourth quarter to win 63-58 and capture the trophy by a 136-127 aggregate.  Chelsea had 16 points and 6 assists in 39 minutes.  LaToya Pringle/Lara Sanders had 12 points and 8 rebounds, Tanisha Wright had 12 points, and Jelena Dubljevic had 10 points and 6 rebounds.  In the win, ex-VCU player Quanitra Hollingsworth had 16 points and 10 rebounds and ex-West Virginia player Yelena Leuchanka had 13 points and 9 rebounds.

On Friday, Josh Hairston and Maccabi Raanana had their season ended with an 83-81 loss to Hod Hasharon in Game 2 of the Quarterfinals.  Josh had 11 points and 6 rebounds in 36 minutes.  Samme Givens had 18 points and 10 rebounds.  In the win, Storm Warren had 32 points and 13 rebounds and Vernon Teel had 11 points, 8 rebounds, and 13 assists.  Josh had another solid professional season in a new country as his team played well during the regular season, but exited early in what would have been a very tough postseason to try to grab the championship and one spot in the top division for the next season.

Alana Beard, Angela Salvadores, and Avenida started the playoffs in Spain with a 69-45 Game 1 win in the Semifinals against Universitario Ferrol.  Alana had 6 points in 25 minutes and Angela had 2 points in 5 minutes.  Chrissy Givens had 20 points, Adaora Elonu had 10 points and 6 rebounds, and Jelena Milovanovic had 10 points and 6 assists.  In the loss, rookie Shacobia Barbee from Georgia had 12 points.

Chelsea Gray and Abdullah Gul University now only have domestic league play to focus on as they lost 77-69 to Galatasaray.  Chelsea had 20 points as she played all but 49 seconds of the game.  LaToya Pringle/Lara Sanders had 18 points and 6 rebounds and Ann Wauters had 11 points.  In the win, rookie Moriah Jefferson from UConn had 24 points and 6 assists, ex-UTEP player Kristine Vitola had 14 points and 13 rebounds, and ex-Texas player Yvonne Anderson had 11 points.
