On Friday, Kathleen Scheer started her season with the Hobart Chargers as they beat the Sandringham Sabres 78-74. This is Kathleen's fourth straight season in Hobart as they compete in one of Australia's state level basketball leagues which take place during the offseason of the national league. Kathleen has also been playing for Kingston in the local Southern Basketball League in Tasmania, but record keeping there is not timely or reliable enough to cover regularly. Ex-San Diego player Izzy Chilcott will be one of her teammates again. In this game, Kathleen had 23 points and 11 rebounds as she played all 40 minutes. Chilcott had 33 points and 10 rebounds.
