​On Monday, Tyler Thornton and the Halifax Hurricanes beat the Island Storm 117-110.  Tyler had 15 points in 18 minutes.  Joel Kindred had 15 points and 6 rebounds, Mike Poole had 14 points and 7 rebounds, Chadrick Lufile had 14 points, and Malcolm Duvivier had 12 points.  In the loss, ex-DII player Tyree White had 30 points, 9 rebounds, and 6 assists, ex-Oregon player Jonathan Loyd had 17 points, and ex-Nevada player Malik Story had 13 points.

On Tuesday, Daniel Ewing made his debut for Sibiu in the Romanian Cup where they lost 79-66 in Game 2 of the Quarterfinals to the University of Craiova, but still advanced on aggregate 155-153.  After only playing for part of last season, Daniel was without a team until the current league leaders in Romania brought him in for the stretch run, but lingering injury issues delayed his debut until now.  His teammates include ex-Southern Illinois player Randal Falker, ex-Old Dominion player Chris Cooper, ex-McNeese State player Kevin Hardy, ex-NAIA player Monyea Pratt, and ex-Xavier player Isaiah Philmore.  In this game, Daniel had 2 points in 14 minutes.  Hardy had 18 points, Falker had 17 points and 16 rebounds, and Pratt had 10 points.  On the other side, ex-Portland player Porter Troupe had 18 points and 7 rebounds and ex-Providence player Sharaud Curry had 13 points.

Chloe Wells could not recover from injury in time and Nymburk had their season ended with a 76-71 loss to Hradec Kralove in Game 3 of the Czech League Quarterfinals.  It was a tough way for Chloe to end her season after impressing both locally and in EuroCup Women, but after she recovers, she should have the option of staying with the team or continuing to move up the ladder in Europe.

On Thursday, Tyler Thornton and the Halifax Hurricanes beat the Cape Breton Highlanders 103-90.  Tyler had 8 points.  Malcolm Duvivier had 29 points and Mike Poole had 11 points and 10 rebounds.  In the loss, ex-Canisius player Jamal Reynolds had 23 points and 11 rebounds, ex-St. Francis (PA) player Devin Sweetney had 23 points, and ex-Arkansas player Olu Famutimi had 12 points.
