On Saturday, Lindsey Harding and Dynamo Kursk had a lead in the first half against powerhouse UMMC Ekaterinburg, but lost 97-81.  Lindsey had 12 points in 34 minutes.  Nneka Ogwumike had 27 points and 8 rebounds and Anete Jekabsone had 20 points.  In the win, ex-UConn player Diana Taurasi had 27 points and 7 rebounds and WNBA player Emma Meesseman had 21 points and 12 rebounds.

Chelsea Gray and Abdullah Gul University lost 56-52 to the surprise team in the league Hatay.  Chelsea had 16 points and 6 rebounds as she played all 40 minutes.

Ka'lia Johnson and Aarau beat Lancy 78-58.  Ka'lia led all scorers with 23 points.  Karen Twehues had 11 points.  In the loss, rookie Toia Giggetts from James Madison had 19 points.

Alana Beard and Avenida beat Universitario Ferrol 79-66.  Alana had 4 points in 25 minutes.  Gabriela Marginean had 19 points, Ewelina Kobryn had 16 points, and Astou Ndour had 11 points.  In the loss, ex-Miami player Laura Quevedo had 13 points and 6 rebounds, rookie Shae Kelley from Minnesota had 11 points, and ex-Florida State player Chelsea Davis had 10 points.

Daniel Ewing and Neptunas lost 82-72 to Prienai.  Daniel had 7 points in 23 minutes.  Trent Plaisted had 15 points and Travis Bader had 10 points.  In the win, ex-William and Mary player Laimonas Kisielius had 16 points and ex-Youngstown State player Vytautas Sulskis had 15 points and 6 rebounds.

Josh Hairston and Norrkoping won Game 3 of the Quarterfinals 65-60 over Sundsvall.  Josh had 4 points and 9 rebounds in 23 minutes.  Joakim Kjellbom had 14 points and 13 rebounds.  In the loss, ex-Oregon State player Charles Barton had 14 points and ex-North Carolina Central player Ray Willis had 11 points.

On Sunday, Tricia Liston had her season ended after the Hansae completed their sweep with a 69-51 win in Game 3.  Tricia had a quiet 5 minutes.  Chelsey Lee had 15 points and 9 rebounds and Bernice Mosby had 14 points and 10 rebounds.  In the win, ex-Georgia Tech player Sasha Goodlett had 13 points and 9 rebounds.  An injury to one of the best players in the league forced Tricia's team to bring in a replacement, creating an opening for her.  While she was brought in as a backup with the expectations that the post players would be prioritized for playing time, she had an impact on several games for the team as they grabbed a spot in the playoffs, but fell short at the end.

Elizabeth Williams and Istanbul University beat Gelistirenler 71-68.  Elizabeth had 18 points and 10 rebounds in 36 minutes.  Tan White had 20 points and 18 rebounds.  In the loss, ex-Gonzaga player Courtney Vandersloot had 15 points and ex-Penn State player Alex Bentley had 13 points.

Karima Christmas and Reyer Venezia beat Torino 69-57.  Karima had 15 points in 25 minutes.  In the loss, ex-Texas player Yvonne Anderson had 24 points and 8 rebounds and ex-Illinois player Jenna Smith had 11 points and 11 rebounds.

Shavlik Randolph and Liaoning needed a win in Game 5 of the Finals to keep their season alive and return to their home court, but lost 94-91 to Sichuan to fall short.  Shavlik had 15 points and 12 rebounds in 28 minutes.  Lester Hudson had 39 points and 11 rebounds.  In the win, ex-Rice player Mike Harris had 25 points and 15 rebounds, ex-NBA player Hamed Haddadi had 22 points and 16 rebounds, and ex-Washington player Justin Dentmon had 11 points.  Shavlik returned to China after using the league as a springboard to the NBA in the past.  His team thought that they might have found the missing piece to their championship puzzle, pairing two of the most accomplished foreign players in the league and having one of the stronger domestic cores, but they fell just again in the playoffs after a dominant regular season.  It is unclear whether Shavlik has any options to leave before the final two years of his contract are played, but his return to China has been a fruitful one.

Marty Pocius and Zalgiris returned to domestic league play and beat Juventus 88-65.  Marty had a quiet 5 minutes.  Renaldas Seibutis had 11 points, Brock Motum had 10 points and 9 rebounds, and Jerome Randle and Olivier Hanlan had 10 points each.  In the loss, ex-Utah State player Spencer Butterfield had 13 points and 7 rebounds.

DeMarcus Nelson and Malaga got an impressive 83-56 domestic league win over Saski Baskonia.  DeMarcus had 9 points and 6 assists in 23 minutes.  Will Thomas had 24 points and 7 rebounds and Fran Vazquez had 10 points.  In the loss, Adam Hanga, the 59th of the San Antonio Spurs in 2011, had 15 points and ex-DII player Darius Adams had 13 points.
