On Saturday, Jess Foley made her head coaching debut for the Norwood Flames as they beat the West Adelaide Bearcats 77-54. Jess has been playing for the Flames for several years at the Australia state league level, which runs during the offseason of the national league. Last year, she was a player-assistant coach and this year she takes on the dual responsibilities of being the team's head coach and star players. Her teammates include former UMass player Marisa Stabile. Jess led the way with 28 points in 32 minutes.
