On Friday, Carlos Boozer and Guangdong started the Semifinals in China with a 130-113 Game 1 win over Shenzhen.  Carlos had 18 points and 6 rebounds in 30 minutes.  Donald Sloan had 29 points and 12 assists and Yi Jianlian had 24 points and 6 rebounds.  In the loss, ex-NBA player Maciej Lampe had 25 points and 17 rebounds and ex-Gonzaga player Jeremy Pargo had 21 points and 8 rebounds.

Shavlik Randolph and Liaoning also started their Semifinals series, heading to Xinjiang for Game 1 and losing 118-93.  Shavlik had 18 points and 6 rebounds in 29 minutes.  Lester Hudson had 28 points and 6 rebounds.  In the win, ex-DII player Darius Adams had 43 points, 6 rebounds, and 8 assists, Zhou Qi, the 43rd pick of the last draft by the Houston Rockets, had 17 points and 12 rebounds, and ex-NBA player Andray Blatche had 12 points and 8 rebounds.

Kathleen Scheer and the Latrobe Demons beat the Wynyard Wildcats 85-71.  Kathleen had 52 points and 19 rebounds in 32 minutes.

Chelsea Gray and Abullah Gul University hosted France's Lattes Montpellier in the second game of the EuroCup Quarterfinals carrying a big lead from the first game.  They increased that lead early and coasted to a 73-68 win in the game, winning the series 158-133 overall.  Chelsea had 8 points in 12 minutes.  Mirna Mazic had 12 points and 9 rebounds.  In the loss, ex-UC Santa Barbara player Kristen Mann had 15 points and ex-UC Irvine player Naomi Halman had 11 points.

Elizabeth Williams and Nadezhda Orenburg traveled the Czech Republic for Game 2 of the EuroLeague Quarterfinals, losing 64-55 to USK Praha and not sweeping the series.  Elizabeth had 6 points and 7 rebounds in 34 minutes.  Amanda Zahui B had 21 points and 9 rebounds and Tiffany Mitchell had 12 points.  In the win, WNBA player Sonja Petrovic had 18 points and 8 rebounds, ex-Temple player Candice Dupree had 16 points and 14 rebounds, and WNBA player Marta Xargay had 11 points and 6 assists.
