On Monday, Marty Pocius did not dress as Zalgiris returned to domestic league play and was stunned by Juventus 86-84.  Brock Motum had 20 points.  In the win, rookie Chavaughn Lewis from Marist had 20 points, 8 rebounds, and 6 assists and ex-Utah State player Spencer Butterfield had 16 points.

Karima Christmas and Reyer Venezia rolled to a 90-40 win over Sesto San Giovanni.  Karima led all scorers with 19 points in 20 minutes.  In the loss, ex-William and Mary player Emily Correal had 12 points.

On Tuesday, Josh Hairston and shorthanded Norrkoping lost 74-59 to Jamtland.  Josh had 17 points and 10 rebounds in 34 minutes.  In the win, ex-DII player Corin Henry had 20 points and 6 assists and ex-DII player Najee White had 10 points and 6 rebounds.

Lindsey Harding and Dynamo Kursk started the EuroLeague Women quarterfinals with Game 1 of the best of 3 series on the road against fellow Russian team Nadezhda Orenburg, losing 78-68.  Lindsey had 10 points and 9 rebounds in 38 minutes.  Nneka Ogwumike had 22 points.  In the win, ex-Notre Dame player Kayla McBride had 18 points, ex-Auburn player DeWanna Bonner had 14 points and 8 rebounds, and ex-Georgia player Angel Robinson had 13 points and 11 rebounds.

Chelsea Gray and Abdullah Gul University started the EuroCup quarterfinals, entering the competition after being eliminated from EuroLeague Women.  They started the first of the two game series at home against fellow Turkish team Besiktas, winning 79-68.  Chelsea had 16 points and 8 rebounds in 37 minutes.  Janel McCarville had 17 points and 8 rebounds and LaToya Pringle/Lara Sanders had 15 points.  In the loss, ex-Rutgers player Cappie Pondexter had 18 points and ex-WNBA player Jelena Milovanovic had 14 points and 9 rebounds.

On Thursday, DeMarcus Nelson and Malaga had a EuroLeague trip to Croatia, winning 91-78.  DeMarcus had 10 points in 22 minutes.  Jack Cooley had 16 points and 10 rebounds, Nemanja Nedovic had 15 points, Fran Vazquez had 14 points and 9 rebounds, and Will Thomas had 14 points.  In the loss, ex-Cincinnati player James White had 16 points and ex-Kansas State player Jacob Pullen had 15 points.

Tricia Liston and her team started the semifinals against the Stars, losing Game 1 72-69 at home.  Tricia had a quiet 2 minutes.  Bernice Mosby had 24 points and 7 rebounds and Chelsey Lee had 23 points and 15 rebounds.  In the win, rookie Dearica Hamby from Wake Forest had 26 points and 17 rebounds.

On Friday, Shavlik Randolph and Liaoning started the finals in China, hosting Game 1 against Sichuan and winning 103-89.  Shavlik had 19 points and 14 rebounds in 27 minutes.  Lester Hudson had 29 points and 11 assists.  In the loss, ex-Rice player Mike Harris had 25 points and 11 rebounds, ex-NBA player Hamed Haddadi had 20 points and 9 rebounds, and ex-Washington player Justin Dentmon had 11 points, 6 rebounds, and 6 assists.

Rivers had 14 points.

Jess Foley and the Norwood Flames started their season with a 60-50 win over the Woodville Warriors.  Jess returns to Norwood, which plays in the state level Central Australia Basketball League during the offseason of the national league.  Like last season Jess will double as both the head coach and one of the team's star players.  Her teammates include ex-UMass player Marisa Stabile and Boston College commit Taylor Ortlepp.  In this game, Jess had 10 points and 8 rebounds in 28 minutes.  Stabile had 15 points and 9 rebounds.  In the loss, rookie Tavarsha Scott-Williams from Texas A&M had 15 points and 19 rebounds.

Chelsea Gray and Abdullah Gul University had the second game of the EuroCup Women quarterfinals, retaining their lead from the first game.  It was close, but a 71-63 loss to Besiktas was enough to win the series 142-139.  Chelsea had 12 points in 32 minutes.  Doneeka Hodges had 15 points and LaToya Pringle/Lara Sanders had 13 points and 6 rebounds.  For their opponents, Cappie Pondexter had 23 points and 6 rebounds and Jelena Milovanovic had 15 points.
