On Friday, Carlos Boozer and Guangdong beat Jiangsu 110-96.  Carlos had 19 points and 11 rebounds in 25 minutes.  Donald Sloan had 30 points and 9 rebounds and Yi Jianlian had 27 points and 11 rebounds.  In the loss, ex-Providence player MarShon Brooks had 36 points and 11 rebounds, ex-South Florida player Will McDonald had 15 points and 8 rebounds, and ex-Long Beach State player Lin Chang had 13 points and 9 rebounds.

Shavlik Randolph and Liaoning lost to Guangsha 98-95.  Shavlik had 17 points and 10 rebounds in 29 minutes.  Lester Hudson had 34 points and 6 rebounds.  In the win, ex-Arkansas player Courtney Fortson had 24 points, 13 rebounds, and 14 assists.

DeMarcus Nelson and Lyon-Villeurbanne played in the quarterfinals of the Leaders Cup at Disneyland Paris, which they qualified for by finishing in the top eight of the league standings at the halfway point, beating Chalon Saone 80-62.  DeMarcus had 11 points and 8 rebounds in 30 minutes.  Walter Hodge had 14 points and Nikola Dragovic had 13 points and 6 rebounds.  In the loss, ex-Kansas State player Lance Harris had 11 points.

Kathleen Scheer made her season debut as the Latrobe Demons beat the Devonport Warriors 67-54.  This will be the third season for Kathleen in Latrobe, which is part of the local North West Basketball Union and she will play there as long as the games do not conflict with her main team in Tasmania, the Hobart Chargers, whose season will start in a month.  In this game, Kathleen had 8 points and 15 rebounds in 35 minutes.

On Saturday, DeMarcus Nelson and Lyon-Villeurbanne faced Pac-Lacq-Orthez in the Leaders Cup semifinals, winning 94-80.  DeMarcus had 12 points in 25 minutes.  Walter Hodge had 18 points and 10 assists, Adrian Uter had 14 points, 6 rebounds, and 6 assists, Darryl Watkins had 13 points, and Nikola Dragovic had 12 points.  In the loss, ex-Ohio State player Ron Lewis had 28 points.
