Last Friday, Daniel Ewing and Ferro Carril Oeste started the Group Stage of the League of the Americas in Monterrey, Mexico. While Canada and the United States do not participate, teams through the Americas play for the championship and Daniel's team qualified before he got there. Instead of home and away games, a group of four teams plays in one location to determine which teams progress to the next stage. Their first game was against the Mexicali Suns, which they won 79-77.
