On Saturday, Shavlik Randolph was not in the lineup as Utsunomiya beat Akita 74-61.  Ryan Rossiter had 12 points and 7 rebounds.  In the loss, ex-DII player Justin Keenan had 21 points and ex-Pacific player Nyika Williams had 10 points and 9 rebounds.

Ryan Kelly and Shibuya beat Nagoya 85-65.  Ryan had 23 points and 10 rebounds in 30 minutes.  Charles Jackson had 17 points and 11 rebounds.  In the loss, ex-St. John's player Justin Burrell had 20 points and 7 rebounds and ex-UConn player Hilton Armstrong had 15 points and 8 rebounds.
