On Saturday, Richa Jackson and Chloe Wells both made their professional debuts in Brazil with Barretos, a newcomer to the top league in that country.  They started with a tough game against Americana and lost 97-50.  Chloe had 15 points in 33 minutes and Richa had 6 points in 23 minutes.  In the win, WNBA player Damiris Dantas had 19 points and 9 rebounds.

Karima Christmas and the S-Birds beat KEB 59-41.  Karima had 10 points and 8 rebounds in 21 minutes.

Jess Foley, Kathleen Scheer, and the Adelaide Lightning had a quick turnaround and lost again 76-60 to the Canberra Capitals.  Jess had 2 points in 28 minutes and Kathleen had 2 points in 14 minutes.  Amy Lewis had 12 points.  In the win, ex-WNBA player Abby Bishop had 31 points and 15 rebounds.

Jasmine Thomas and Orman could not keep up with Adana and lost 80-68.  Jasmine had 8 points in 16 minutes.  Chatilla Van Grinsven had 27 points and 9 rebounds and Kara Braxton had 18 points and 9 rebounds.  In the win, ex-UNC player Erlana Larkins had 21 points and 6 rebounds, ex-Arizona State player Briann January had 17 points and 6 assists, and ex-Rutgers player Michelle Campbell, who is also known by her Turkish name Melisa Can, had 15 points and 6 rebounds.

Haley Peters and Universitario Ferrol recorded a solid 77-68 win over Gernika Bizkaia.  Haley had 20 points and 7 rebounds in 35 minutes.  DeNesha Stallworth added 17 points and 6 rebounds.  In the loss, ex-Baylor player Bernice Mosby had 24 points and 6 rebounds, ex-Florida State player Britany Miller had 13 points and 6 rebounds, and ex-Boston University player Rachael Vanderwal had 11 points.

Tricia Liston and Cagliari lost a tough game at league-leading Ragusa 72-63.  Tricia had 13 points in 37 minutes.  Asia Taylor had 14 points and 12 rebounds.  In the win, ex-Texas Tech player Plenette Pierson had 24 points and ex-Furman player Jenifer Nadalin had 11 points.

Shelden Williams returned for Tianjin as they played Bayi and won 105-81.  Against the army team, teams have their foreign player availability dropped from 6 quarters to 5, so Shelden only had 24 minutes to work with, being incredibly efficient with 14 points, 16 rebounds, and 6 blocks.  Quincy Douby had 28 points and Shang Ping had 17 points.

On Monday, Monique Currie and the Blue Minx visited Karima Christmas and the S-Bird and came back in the second half to win 63-59.  Monique had 23 points in 31 minutes and Karima had 4 points in 15 minutes.  Jessica Breland added 12 points and 10 rebounds in the win.

Sheana Mosch and Elitzur Holon were shorthanded against Maccabi Ramat Hen and were blown out 104-70.  Sheana had 18 points in 7 minutes.  Courtney Clements had 27 points and 7 rebounds.  In the win, ex-UNLV player Shamela Hampton had 22 points and 6 rebounds, rookie Kayla Thornton from UTEP had 12 points, 15 rebounds, and 6 assists, ex-UCLA player Rebekah Gardner had 11 points, and ex-Northern Iowa player Jacqui Kalin had 10 points and 7 assists.

Marty Pocius and Galatasaray returned to domestic league play and dropped a game at Turk Telekom 85-77.  Marty had 8 points in 13 minutes.  Sinan Guler had 17 points.  In the win, Milovan Rakovic, the last pick of the 2007 draft by the Dallas Mavericks before a pair of trades left his rights with the Chicago Bulls, had 29 points and 7 rebounds, ex-Texas A&M player Josh Carter had 17 points, and ex-UCLA player Michael Roll had 11 points.

DeMarcus Nelson is still not ready for Panathinaikos as they picked up an easy 72-59 domestic win at Koroivnos.  Ex-Kansas player Julian Wright, who joined the team on a short term basis after the season started, had one of his best games so far with 12 points and 9 rebounds and Antonis Fotsis had 11 points.  In the loss, ex-Richmond player Darrius Garrett had 25 points and 6 rebounds, ex-DII player Josh Magette had 11 points and 8 assists, and ex-Dayton player Robert Lowery had 11 points.
