On Tuesday, Shelden Williams and Tianjin were blown out by Foshan 121-93.  Shelden had 15 points and 16 rebounds in 29 minutes.  Quincy Douby had 13 points.  In the win, ex-Cal State Fullerton player Josh Akognon had 33 points and Viacheslav Kravtsov, one of the new wave of European players to move from the NBA to China, had 17 points and 13 rebounds.

Daniel Ewing and LeMans Sarthe had their first game of the EuroChallenge, the third-tier pan-continental competition in Europe.  They host Belgium's Antwerp Giants and had big third quarter collapse before coming back late to 72-66.  Daniel had 11 points in 28 minutes.  Michal Ignerski had 18 points, Shy Ely had 13 points and 6 assists, and Romero Osby had 11 points.  In the loss, ex-Arizona player Kyle Fogg had 13 points and ex-George Mason player Ryan Pearson had 10 points.

On Wednesday, Karima Christmas and the S-Birds fell 62-53 to the Hansae.  Karima had 13 points and 17 rebounds in 34 minutes and grabbed game MVP again.  In the win, ex-UConn player Charde Houston had 17 points and 10 rebounds.

Mistie Bass and Lattes Montpellier started their EuroLeague Women campaign on the road in Turkey against Galatasaray.  After several season dominating the domestic scene, Mistie was finally able to join a team playing at the highest level of basketball in Europe as they will travel around the continent to face the best teams from other countries.  This game started slowly, but the team built a lead only to be forced into overtime, where they recovered enough to escape with a 66-59 win.  Mistie had 10 points and 9 rebounds in 32 minutes.  In the loss, ex-Texas A&M player Kelsey Bone had 21 points.

On Thursday, Monique Currie and the Blue Minx beat Winnus 63-46.  Monique had 16 points and 9 rebounds in 24 minutes.  In the loss, ex-Florida State player Roneeka Hodges had 10 points and 6 rebounds.

On Friday, Shelden Williams and Tianjin took on Sichuan, grabbing an early lead and holding on to a 115-108 win.  Shelden had 8 points and 12 rebounds in 27 minutes.  He had less to do statistically than in other games because the other team had little inside offensive presence and his running mate Quincy Douby, the all-time single game points record holder in China, had one of his special nights, pouring in 54 points and adding 8 rebounds and 7 assists.  In the loss, ex-Cal State Northridge player Michael Efevberha had 36 points and 13 rebounds, Ron Artest continued his Metta World Peace tour as the Panda's Friend with 21 points, and ex-DII player Jet Chang had 19 points.

Josh Hairston and Massagno came back in the second half to beat Lugano 92-85.  Josh had 15 points in 30 minutes.  Auston Calhoun had 21 points and 9 rebounds, Erik Buggs had 16 points, and Jake Thomas had 13 points.  In the loss, ex-Miami of Ohio player Antonio Ballard had 26 points, ex-UNC Wilmington player Keith Rendleman had 21 points and 13 rebounds, and ex-Northern Iowa player Matt Schneiderman had 19 points.

Marty Pocius is still injured, but he was not needed as Galatasaray cruised to a 94-68 EuroLeague home win over Neptunas of Lithuania.  Sinan Guler had 18 points, Carlos Arroyo had 15 points, and Furkan Aldemir had 13 points.

DeMarcus Nelson in still not available for Panathinaikos, but they had an easy timei n EuroLeague play with a 90-63 win over their visitors from Italy, Olimpia Milano.  Esteban Batista had 15 points and A.J. Slaughter had 11 points.  In the loss, ex-Louisville player Samardo Samuels had 18 points, ex-Wichita State player Joe Ragland had 13 points and 7 assists, and ex-Providence player Marshon Brooks had 11 points.
