On Monday, Elizabeth Williams started her season as Liaoning lost to Guangdong 80-70.  Elizabeth is playing in China for the first time as the league often targets post players with each team only allowed to field one foreigner.  In this game, Elizabeth had 27 points and 7 rebounds as she played all 40 minutes.

On Tuesday, Shavlik Randolph and his team lost to Fujian 91-75.  Shavlik had 11 points and 21 rebounds in 32 minutes.  In the win, ex-Louisville player Russ Smith had 42 points and 6 rebounds and ex-Rice player Mike Harris had 16 points and 16 rebounds.
