On Saturday, Jess Foley, Kathleen Scheer, and the Adelaide Lightning slumped to another loss, losing 78-59 to the Sydney Flames.  Jess had 7 points in 33 minutes and Kathleen had 3 points and 6 rebounds in 16 minutes.  Laura Summerton had 15 points.

Monique Currie and the Blue Minx lost a close game to her former team, the Stars, 62-60.  Monique had 10 points and 8 rebounds in 25 minutes.  In the win, ex-Tennessee player Vicki Baugh had 12 points and 10 rebounds.

Jasmine Thomas and Orman beat Osmaniye 74-65.  Jasmine had 14 points in 30 minutes.  Kara Braxton had 15 points and 12 rebounds.  In the loss, ex-WNBA player Kelly Santos had 15 points and 11 rebounds and ex-Abilene Christian player Makbule Amachree had 14 points.

Lindsey Harding and Edirne lost 60-46 to Abdullah Gul University.  Lindsey led all scorers with 18 points in 39 minutes.  Marissa Coleman had 12 points.  In the win, ex-UNC player LaToya Pringle, who is also known by the Turkish version of her married name Lara Sanders, had 12 points and 9 rebounds.

Haley Peters and Universitario de Ferrol came up short 63-57 against Zamarat.  Haley had 13 points and 8 rebounds in 38 minutes.  DeNesha Stallworth had 16 points and 10 rebounds.

On Sunday, Tricia Liston and Cagliari took on Triestina and her shooting paced her team, building their lead as they won 83-71.  Tricia finished with 32 points and 6 rebounds in 35 minutes.  In the loss, ex-NAIA player Donica Cosby had 14 points.

Shelden Williams and Tianjin had a tough time at Liaoning, losing 117-88.  Without his usual running mate, Shelden had 23 points and 13 rebounds in 33 minutes.  In the win, ex-UNC player Deon Thompson had 25 points and 16 rebounds and former Tennessee-Martin player Lester Hudson had 25 points.

On Monday, Karima Christmas and the S-Birds edged past the Stars 62-57.  Karima had 18 points and 10 rebounds in 27 minutes.  In the loss, ex-Tennessee player Shekinna Stricklen had 22 points and 8 rebounds.

Sheana and Elitzur Holon fought back against Hapoel Petah-Tikva, but lost 80-70.  Sheana had 14 points in 39 minutes.  Courtney Clements had 21 points and 8 rebounds, Shira Shecht had 11 points, Thea Lemberger had 10 points and 6 rebounds, and Karla Gilbert had 10 points.  In the loss, rookie Atonye Nyingifa had 33 points and 15 rebounds, ex-NAIA player Stephanie Madden had 20 points and 13 rebounds, and rookie Keena Mays from SMU had 17 points, 9 rebounds, and 6 assists.

Marty Pocius is still injured, so he missed one of the largest sports rivalries in the world and the first matchup with Fenerbahce Ulker since Game 7 of the finals last season, which Galatasaray refused to play.  The team lost this game, though not by forfeit this time, 85-74.  Carlos Arroyo had 15 points.  In the win, Nemanja Bjelica, the 35th pick of the Washington Wizards in 2010 before a draft day trade to the Minnesota Timberwolves, had 18 points, Bogdan Bogdanovic, the 27th pick of the Phoenix Suns in the last draft, had 13 points, and ex-College of Charleson player Andrew Goudelock had 12 points.
