On Wednesday, Haley Peters played her first professional national league level game. She starts her overseas career in Spain, with Universitario Ferrol, a team that played in the second division last year, but was promoted to the top division this year. On Thursday, Marty Pocius and Nolan Smith had their Euroleague opener in Serbia against Red Star Belgrade. The team put together a solid first quarter effort, but the raucous home crowd fueled their team and Galatasaray ended up losing 76-68. After several seasons of carrying her team as one of the top players in France, Mistie made a move this year to one of the stronger teams in France, with a more balanced roster and a chance to compete in European club competitions. Her teammates include WNBA player Jenna O'Hea and ex-UC Irvine player Naomi Halman. In this game, Mistie struggled early, but finished with 8 points in 32 minutes and O'Hea had 11 points.
