g'morning, kids! So, I finished reading The Divine Secrets of the Ya Ya Sisterhood for the 84 thousandth time Friday and decided that I absolutely had to have crawfish ettouffee. Of course this is not crawfish season so I decided an acceptable substitute would be lobster! After all, what are crawfish? They're little lobsters! For the fourth time in the past year, I cooked last night. The roux was a little watery, but overall it turned out yummy. The next time, I plan to perfect the recipe and post on the recipe thread.

Mmmmmmmmm sounds yummy. I spatchcocked a chicken last night and it's been marinating in an herb rub. It shall be accompanied by grilles squash and white truffle mac n cheese. :-BD

I hope so! We picked up the standard tillamook sharp cheddar and an aged Australian white cheddar for the cheese sauce. I'll post the recipe tomorrow and let you know how it goes.

Rain! Not much, and it waited until I was in the clubhouse having a couple of birthday beers after shooting an 81 with 3 more birdies today, though only 2 in a row (note to Lavabe - it was a pair of Newcastle's :D ) .

You should have had the draught of Arrogant Bastard that I had yesterday with devildeac at Richmond, KY's "Paddy Wagon" Irish pub. VERY tasty. For the record, devildeac had an Old Rasputin on draught. :D

But glad to see you went with Newcastle! :ymparty:

Good Morning, all. ~O)

You don't LOOK like him that much, CB&B, but the picture in your new avatar has a definite Weird "Al" vibe to it. ;) I like it. Probably just the hat and the hair.
