For the bland chicken, I don't think Mrs. Dash has salt, and it's pretty flavorful. Maybe that would help.

I hope you don't mind, but I asked for prayers for your dad and all of your family this morning at church.

Regarding the bland chicken, Penzey's has several herb mixtures to flavor chicken that have no salt. I'd be happy to send your dad some to try. I sent some to another friend's father when he had his heart surgery a few years ago. He enjoyed them.

Hello CrazieTalkers! I just spoke with Sue who told me that Uncle Yucky is in recovery and doing well. The surgeons are happy with the results and stated that the damage from the heart attack was minimal. He underwent triple bypass with no complications. Our girl just might get some rest tonight!!
