I leave at 0730 and 1600 and still run into traffic because I drive 2 hours each way. Oy.YmoBeThere wrote:I leave at 8:15 and 18:15 so I can avoid traffic.

The sun was out and shining bright yesterday. A beautiful October day! So thankful the rain has stopped.

I would have to reassess where I lived and worked in that scenario.DukePA wrote:I leave at 0730 and 1600 and still run into traffic because I drive 2 hours each way. Oy.YmoBeThere wrote:I leave at 8:15 and 18:15 so I can avoid traffic.

Tyler is taking his Therapy Dog test tomorrow. At only 16 month old he is kind of young to be even trying it. The last time it was offered at my club of the 31 dogs who took it only three passed. It s all of the behavior and manners you need on a dog to go into a hospital hospice nursing home and make visits. I don't expect that he'll pass on his first try but we have our paws crossed anyway.

Merlin used to visit the nursing home. He wasn't an official therapy dog, but we went with his vet once a month for several years. I got so much out of our visits, even though we were supposed to be there for the benefit of the residents.

I've been giving my couch a workout tonight. Watching a lot of baseball. With the windows open even...

I should have done this with Harley. His temperament is very good. He is awesome with children and babies. Of course he loves everybody.lawgrad91 wrote:Puppy vibes to Tyler!windsor wrote:Tyler is taking his Therapy Dog test tomorrow. At only 16 month old he is kind of young to be even trying it. Mr Tyler did not pass. He failed on the 'patient in distress' portion. ..when the evaluator started to moan and thrash about he put his feet on the wheel chair. He did everything else
