I leave at 0730 and 1600 and still run into traffic because I drive 2 hours each way. Oy.

The sun was out and shining bright yesterday. A beautiful October day! So thankful the rain has stopped.

Sending prayers to all of the flood victims and the farmers that have lost their seasonal crop.

I would have to reassess where I lived and worked in that scenario.

Tyler is taking his Therapy Dog test tomorrow. At only 16 month old he is kind of young to be even trying it. The last time it was offered at my club of the 31 dogs who took it only three passed. It s all of the behavior and manners you need on a dog to go into a hospital hospice nursing home and make visits. I don't expect that he'll pass on his first try but we have our paws crossed anyway.
All that is gold does not glitter, not all those who wander are lost; the old that is strong does not wither, deep roots are not reached by the frost.

Puppy vibes to Tyler!

Merlin used to visit the nursing home. He wasn't an official therapy dog, but we went with his vet once a month for several years. I got so much out of our visits, even though we were supposed to be there for the benefit of the residents.

Giving of oneself is it's own reward.

I've been giving my couch a workout tonight. Watching a lot of baseball. With the windows open even...

I should have done this with Harley. His temperament is very good. He is awesome with children and babies. Of course he loves everybody.
