Here's the first announcement of changes within the staff. Matt has been a graduate assistant who's been promoted to assistant coach. He's not only done quite well in coaching the safeties, he's also an outstanding recruiter.

That's a pretty remarkable experience for any young coach to have as your foundation to a career.In Guerrieri’s three seasons on the Duke staff, the Blue Devils have compiled 25 wins, captured the 2013 ACC Coastal Division championship and made three straight bowl game appearances.

It is refreshing to see Matt Guerrieri rewarded for his hard work as a GA. It appears there is a youth movement on Coach Cut's staff. IMO, recruiting success was a key factor in his promotion.
