Who is the bestest fictional TV or Movie wife in history?

Post by EarlJam » June 16th, 2009, 9:31 pm

For me, it's Adrian from the Rocky movies. She was pretty, tough, loyal, and just kick ass.

YO Adrian! I love you!

Who would it be for you? I'd make this a poll but can't think of many other kick-ass TV/movie wives (Edith?).

Wanna-hang-out-with-them hot: Clare Huxtable (no I; you can look it up :-B ).
Wholesome hot: June Cleaver
Gaudy hot: Carmela Soprano
Cartoonish hot: Jane Jetson
Zaftig hot: Miss Piggy (OK, not really...I just love the word "zaftig")
Fairy tale hot: Princess Buttercup
Kick-ass hot: Beatrix Kiddo (actually just 'the Bride,' but anyway...)
Disney Princess hot: Ariel

Well...I had this list all typed when I realized that the question is "best" wife, not "hottest" wife. But I really like my list, so I'll submit it anyway.

Cartoon hot: Dude, not a bad call on Jane. But gimmie some Daffney from Scooby Doo or Betty Rubble. They didn't call her "BED ROCKIN' Betty" for nothing!

Wilson: Are all of those on your list wives? Princess Buttercup? Miss Piggy? Ariel?

EJ: I don't think Daphne ever got married.

Princess Buttercup married Westley at the end of the Princess Bride. Miss Piggy and Kermit got married in The Muppets Take Manhattan. Ariel and Eric got married at the end of The Little Mermaid.

Well, then they were brides, not wives, right? Beside that, I thought Westley and Buttercup just rode off into the sunset at the end after escaping the tower. Did they ever actually get married in the movie or book?

1. I always was in lust and love for Claire Huxtable
2. June I think would not be that charismatic
3. Carmela is just a bad girl.... HEY NOW.... ROCK MY WORLD!!!!!! WHAT WE COULD DO!!!!!
4. JANE JETSON... WAS ALWAYS HOTTTTTTT!!!!
5. Miss Piggy ... bless her heart, but NOT SO MUCH
6/7. Ms. Buttercup and Beatrix ... not sure who they are, but if they resemble Taylor Swift ... I am THERE!!!! :D
8. Ariel - ABSOLUTELY... HER VOICE makes me MELT....

#8 reminds ME OF THE OLD FLINSTONES with ANNE MARG-ROCK (aka Anne Margeret), .... she GOT MY PASSION and LOVE by voice, by HAIR, etc.... as a YOUNG MAN to-be....... (OMG, did I just admit that ANNE MARG-ROCK) ON THE FLINTSTONES was my 1st RED HEAD ATTRACTION??????

Dude,

Barney had amassed a large amount of cash through his 401rocK plan and was hung like a Macrodontophion.

Betty was a loaded freak, and Barney was loving every prehistoric minute of it.

Cartoon hot, I'd have to go with Jessica Rabbit. And she's got booby traps! ;) Either her or Leela from Futurama. Those cyclops chicks is hot! ;) If Leela winks, how can you tell?

As for your zaftig category, check out this article about Leonard Nimoy! http://www.backinskinnyjeans.com/2007/0 ... moy_p.html

Lois from the Family Guy or Marge from the Simpsons.
The amount of crap they put up with is amazing, and they still love their husbands. Sweet.

I've only seen the Family Guy once because either there has been something better on or my kids were around and I don't think that show is a kid appropriate show to let them watch similiar to the simpsons.
