IIRC, it was near the corner of either Evans or Memorial (?) and 14th Street. I worked for Hardee's Food Systems (as a lawyer from 1996-1999) and lived in Greenville. I found out where it had been out of curiosity. The site is an office now, again, IIRC. It's been 10 years since I thought about it., and nearly 10 years since I lived in Greenville.captmojo wrote: It was so long ago, I was too young to find my way out of town, much less anything else. I do remember him telling me it was Mr Hardee's original, and we ate there. This was about 1970.

I just tried to vote again, but the contest appears to be over. Sorry we fell a little short there, CellR. Okay, back to the discussion of past fast food joints in and around greater metropolitan Greenville. ;)

Oops, you're right. It let me in this time. My bad. Last time, it said that it couldn't find the page, and that that contest must be over, but I could check out their other contests. So go back and vote!

Fell to 94 again. Man. This is just too hard when you can't give "1"s to the people in front. You can make up ground a LOT faster by giving "1"s and "10"s versus a "1" or a "0" (by NOT voting for the other). I guess it really is easier to be a dog.

Yeah, it would be easier to be a dog
Luckily, I don't have to get 1st place to win. I only have to be in the top 150 by the end of June, or whenever the contest ends. After that, a panel of judges picks the best "smile" picture out of the top 150. I think I have a decent chance to win that.

Keep me in the top 150 while I'm gone! Only 15 days left in the competition.

I guess I just have to hope they picked my picture!
Anyways, my return trip to Haiti was just as amazing as my original trip, Boys State was great, and now I'm off to Camp Don Lee for 5 weeks!
