Tailgate Menu:
Black and Bleu Burgers
Grilled Tarragon-Dijon Potatoes
Blue Moon
Birthday Cake (hopefully we can share some with our tailgating neighbors and get rid of the darn thing)

Tailgating? At the Panther's game today? Are you staying in the parking lot during the game or going into the stadium to watch the (I was home cooking burgers on Tuesday night before I got the call to come in for an interview on Wednesday morning) new quarterback start his first game in the NFL at age 30?

Well, I saw this in your Birthday thread
Friday night we had dinner with Kelly's family. Her brother and sister got us tickets to the Panthers game today. Even though the Panthers are having a rough season, it'll still be fun to go see Michael Orr. Plus it's an awesome day outside and the weather is perfect for tailgating. We're packing up the truck now and headed out soon. Who knows, maybe St. Pierre will pull off one of the most magical wins in the world.
so my question is answered! Have fun! B-)

Believe it or not, this was the most fun Panthers game until the last quarter. We left right after the lateral for the touchdown, literally didn't even see the extra point kick. That marked the first time in my live attendance record that I've left a game, and it was with good reason. It was awesome fun while the Panthers were still in the game and even though the Ravens fans outnumbered us 2:1, the stadium was still rocking and there were lots of people laughing and having a good time. Right after that lateral, the life was sucked out of the stadium. Since we didn't pay for the tickets, and since we still had much more celebrating for the evening, we left. Great time, even with the loss.

Lunch was amazing. Dinner? Still haven't decided what to make. I made some spicy chicken and corn chowder yesterday, I think left-overs will be fine.

Eggs, bacon and toast tonight. We would have gone out but would rather be home. :)

That 88 yard touchdown pass was sure a shocker!

I saw the flyover before the Panthers game. My brother's house is in the flight pattern. Prior to the game, the jets circled my brother's neighborhood, so we knew that it was going to happen. Right before the game started, they flew in formation right over my brother's house. Way cool and very LOUD!

Peanut butter soup (Bruce's mom secret African recipe) and rice at the church dinner. The recipe was changed slightly; since we didn't have a whole goat on hand, he used chicken.

And some yummy quick pineapple cake. And a small slice of yummy chocolate cake.

We were going to have a London broil. I lite the grill, after it was hot, put the LB on, went back later to turn it, out of gas. We had Smithfields BBQ. HoHum.
