Chris, is it possible to update the clock? It's an hour behind.

Tilly - make sure you check and see if under the UserCP (Board setting tab) your timezone is set to -4 Atlantic Standard Time.TillyGalore wrote:Chris, is it possible to update the clock? It's an hour behind.
I've got 6:29pm here in VA, test to see when post shows

Check what clbunchanumbers said, AND make sure you have the DST option selected. (Daylight Savings Time)TillyGalore wrote:Chris, is it possible to update the clock? It's an hour behind.

Re: Site and Forum Suggestion List
Good point - I didn't see the Summertime/DST Yes/NO option. So when I switched the timezone to normally be (GMT - 5 - Eastern), and made sure Summertime/DST was checked YES, then time synced up very nicely! Thanks for pointing that out Chris!CameronBornAndBred wrote:Check what clbunchanumbers said, AND make sure you have the DST option selected. Really! I thought we were on Eastern Standard Time. I changed to Atlantic and will see what happens when I post this.
Son of a gun, it worked. Why are we on Atlantic and not Eastern Standard. If this is about the daylight savings thing, then that explains everything. I can never remember is we're on Eastern Standard or Eastern Daylight. I only know when to fall back and spring forward.

I think you got it confused. You should be on EST, with DST turned on. I am, and it is correct.TillyGalore wrote:cl15876 wrote:Tilly - make sure you check and see if under the UserCP (Board setting tab) your timezone is set to -4 Atlantic Standard Time.TillyGalore wrote:Chris, is it possible to update the clock? Re: Site and Forum Suggestion List
LOL - Sorry Tilly! I didn't see the summer time button option during initial setup and knew we were not -5 hours behind but -4 so incorrectly made an ASS-of-ME-ption by thinking atlantic was the Daylight savings timezone :o, hence, a NEW time zone for this software .... silly me , just like a new planet or atomic symbol, but CB&B clued me in to my haste and my nobel prize for a new discovery went down in flames! :shock:TillyGalore wrote:Okay, I'm straight now. How difficult is it to set posting level status here? You know, how many posts away from Jimmy Spanarkel am I?

Re: Site and Forum Suggestion List
OK, there is that feature here, to an extent. I don't want to replicate what DBR has though, because they put a lot of effort into coming with their system and I'm not a fan of stealing someone else's work/ideas.
I've listed a couple of ranks into the system, and you see the trophies that signify what rank you are. Lets come up with list of what we can be. Right now, I've got spectator, ball boy, and manager, but I'm not all that much of a fan of those either. They are also very similar to DBR's. Shed your ideas here.
