I know. They're just not refundable. Even thought about changing one of the venues but $2K wouldn't be made up by changing locations.DevilAlumna wrote:A deposit amount is nowhere near the full amount.... ;)devildeac wrote:Too late. got too many unrefundable deposits made already.

That's right! We will have coincidental anniversaries with "the CLD" 's! Have you informed the ACC to schedule Duke for an away football game on 10/22 yet? Or will the reception be held at Brunchgate? TNT, we better plan something special - the budget's going up!devildeac wrote:CLD is 6/4/11 and DD daughter #1 is 10/22/11.OZZIE4DUKE wrote:Do you have actual dates to save yet? If it's an away game, great. If not, I hope we get a noon start so we can attend the Brunchgate that day and I can be back in Raleigh by 5 PM to walk her down the aisle at about 505 PM.OZZIE4DUKE wrote:That's right! I guess a night game would work, too, but then we'd only there for the post-victory celebration about 11 PM as the reception is scheduled in Raleigh from 630-1030 PM.

DD's execution will be on Monday, 10/24. Mrs. DD will be throwing the switch...devildeac wrote:That's right! We will have coincidental anniversaries with "the CLD" 's! Excellent dinner at the Sycamore Grill in Water Gap, PA tonight. Only thing better than the food was the company. I love spending time with most of my siblings.

Re: What's for dinner?
When I re-read the post, I realized it could be taken that way. We did send the missing brother a picture at lunch to let him know there was a spot at the table for him. We also had a glass or two in remembrance of our Dad last night. It was 4 years since we lost him.devildeac wrote:Glad you clarified. Did you have a "flat brother" like we had a "flat Sue" at Bruchgate 2 years ago?DukieInKansas wrote:When I re-read the post, I realized it could be taken that way.
