I'm in for the pre-game and the game, but will have to leave by about 5 afterward for a birthday party in Greensboro. I'll bring muffins or something along those lines.

We'll also be leaving 30-45 minutes after the game, too, so no post-game meal for us. In fact, if ILJ and LL show up in time to use the drop-off pass, they'll be leaving about half time with Mrs. DD to spend more than is necessary out of the wedding budgets by advising DD daughter #1 which expensive wedding dress she should buy. It's also older daughters B-day on Saturday and we'll be heading out to dinner about 6PM so there's another reason/s not to include us in dinner plans after the game.

Re: True Brunchgate #2 - UVA Nov. 6th Menu and Attendance
I had designs on making the trip but my would-be companion is gonna have other irrevocable plans.
I'd like to make at least one attendance this year but it takes more than just a day or three's planning effort.
Gonna start a plan now for another game that, with help, we'll make definite our appearance.
Y'all bundle up good this for this one. Gonna be cold, but after all, that's football weather.

Crapola. Stephanie won't be able to make it, the docs have her in a shoulder brace with instructions not to drive. She will be there for BC though.

I'll be there, and I think Tom is also coming. Bringing bagels and microbrews.

To those worried about having enough to feed everyone, don't worry. We crunched the numbers and looked at those who will actually be there between the Devil Walk and kickoff--we have enough food. Feel free to bring any dish you choose, of course, but don't worry about going into the game hungry. See TNT's "Real" menu thread for full details.

We are driving from Alexandria in the morning and hope to arrive by 10. The strata will be cooked, but will need reheating on the grill as was done last time. Is that doable?

Sorry to be so very late posting - been a bit of a crush this week.
It's me +2 and possibly 1 more (won't know until Saturday morning). Since there's no time for making anything, I'm bringing Panera bagels, several flavors of cream cheese and my sister is bringing fruit. I'll also try to bring some coffee - coffee in a box from Panera. If we can locate our large thermos, we might even bring some hot chocolate since it's gonna be brisk Saturday morning.

TNT - will the grill(s) be fired up in the morning to cook the eggs I'm bringing for breakfast and to heat the strata that cheermom is bringing? CB&B said it could be heated above so I expect at least one of the grills will be fired up.

DD will be bringing a small selection of craft beers for our sampling delights. Participation is not required.
Not sure anyone here has tasted any of them before.

We can have the grill fired up, but will need a pan if you want scrambled eggs. For the early bird meat lovers, I picked up a large pack of smoked sausage that will be cooked direct on the fire.OZZIE4DUKE wrote:TNT - will the grill(s) be fired up in the morning to cook the eggs I'm bringing for breakfast and to heat the strata that cheermom is bringing? Well shit. I've already bought a 2 1/2 dozen eggs. What about TNT's pan that we used last time? Can't we use that again? My wife won't let me bring one of her kitchen pans to use on a grill at Brunchgate.CameronBornAndBred wrote:We can have the grill fired up, but will need a pan if you want scrambled eggs. No, I don't like deviled eggs, but I appreciate your suggestion. ;)CathyCA wrote:You could make deviled eggs tonight. ;)OZZIE4DUKE wrote:We can have the grill fired up, but will need a pan if you want scrambled eggs.
