Hot Springs is closer to Crater of Diamonds. I forgot to mention that Oaklawn (home of the Arkansas Derby) is in Hot Springs. Obviously a popular destination in the spring. Since it's only about an hour from The Rock, lots of people take an afternoon off to go to the races. Part of downtown Hot Springs is a national park. Arkansas's only amusement park, Magic Springs, is at the edge of town.

Of course, Eureka Springs boasts a hotel (the Crescent) that was featured on Ghost Hunters. And a Catholic church that you enter through the steeple (it's built on the side of a hill). Did I mention that Eureka Springs is really hilly? Population is quite small, probably 2000. Oh, and I forgot about its biggest draw: the Great Passion Play. It's a live-action play, complete with animals, about Jesus' life. Busloads of people come from all over the US to see it. The Christ of the Ozarks statue is there as well. It's 7 stories tall and has no neck. I heard once that the neck put it above the height limit where a flashing red beacon for airplanes was required, but I don't know if that's true.

A city I would like to visit--Portland, Maine, another--Portland , Oregon. Another, for some unknown reasons, would be Little Rock.

San Fran--one of if not the best city I have ever been to, and I have been to London. Only my opinion, but London is over priced and over rated. I would much rather go to Dublin again.

Let's do a Board Babes at Key West trip! We could do the Duval Crawl, watch the sunset, eat lots of seafood and key lime pie, visit Hemingway's cats, get our picture made at the southernmost point of the continental United States, and sit on the beach and watch the waves roll in.

I like the idea, too. Unfortunately I'd probably schedule and then have to cancel because some grant would come up. :((

After careful thought, I've decided on the following...
Silver Dollar City
Bugtustle
Whynot...no! Turkey...no! I've done these places. This will require a lot more thought. My hair hurts. :^o :veryconfused:

=)) =)) Love the visual on this one!

One bright side to the ridiculous amount of work I've done over the past week in learning a new method and successfully getting it online: my marketability went up by an order of magnitude, and my earning potential went up by a hefty amount as well. :ymdevil:

While this is true, I don't go to London to see the Queen.
