We are 5 in total. I ordered 5 lbs of pastrami and 1 lb of corned beef. Do we need more or a different mix of meat? I am partially contributing to the meat, but can bring more and make that part of my contribution. I am also planning to bring fruit and a veggie platter. What about cole slaw for the sandwiches? Any interest in that?

Best advice I can give- look at my
Menu Thread and make your decision by where you see "holes" (which your fruit/veggie platter help fill[/hint]). Don't wait for this crowd to come to a consensus unless... it's about using more Smilies.

Yes, some good deli cole slaw to go with the pastrami would be great! But the meat really does stand on it's own. I've got 4 loaves of rye (2 with seeds, 2 without seeds), but this stuff is really that finger licking good that you can just pick it up in your fingers (or with a fork if you want to be civilized ;) ) and eat it by itself plain! I can't wait to eat some of this stuff!

Personally, I'd make it 4 and 2 or 5 and 2. I'll eat both choices. Sometimes even on the same sammich.

Slaw sounds good, too. Whether it be for the sammiches or with the other veggies.

DD: 5 total. Adding crudites and dip to the previously promised BB and corn salad. In separate containers, of course. Wouldn't want to confuse the THC or TCH or MC or whateverthehell we're calling CowboyDevil on Saturday.

Looks as if someone's "Designated Seating Area" will be the parking lot, over by the generator.

If he is in charge of who gets to eat or not, I will call him His Royal Highness. I've read the menu. I will try to avoid doing anything that will get me demoted to the outskirts of Brunchgate.

That's fine. I'll have my chair. With my name on it. I'll also have my Duke MBB NC pint glass. With my name on it. I'll even put my name on whatever utensils I use, including my

if needed.

I will NOT be at the Alabama game, dammit. I don't even want to discuss the reason for my absence, but it involves unexpectedly spending my entire f-ing weekend in the law library.
I know you folks will have a great time, and I hope I have reason to regret not being there for the rest of my life!
