Nope, not Danny, either. (It's spelled MeaghEr, but you were correct in putting in the A in that last syllable b/c it's pronounced Meh-HAR.)

Dan Meagher is a fan of Crazietalk? That, to me, is absofrigginlutely AWESOME. Dan Meagher was among my first favorite Duke players. Tough and gritty, and he'd piss Dean Smith off! Playing in the backyard on the dirt court at our garage, I would "model" (term used very loosely), my game after him! Now, if we can only get him to post!

Legend has it that he and Tom Sheehey (?) from uva scuffled a bit and during/after the altercation, Meagher spit in his face. When the boo-'hoos came to CIS later that year or next year and Sheehey was introduced (or sometime during the game),the Crazies chanted, "Meagher spit in your face. Meagher spit in your face."
