1674 Baby!
Led by point guard E. Leopold I, the decendents of a group of current Duke students defeat the decendents of some UNC students on there way to their first national championship. In a bit of irony, the Duke team defeated the Prancing Poles of Poland, *862 - 797. The heavily favored Polish team was lead by Coach Jan Sobieski.
*Basketball games in these days without cars, video games, etc. lasted for 40 quarters over ten days of play.
