I think she wants a Quesadilla Explosion salad from Chili's but we'll see. It won't be the AB though. That'll be graduation from Duke next spring probably .Lavabe wrote:Angus Barn dinner tonight?

And, of course, all her foreign travel was on time or early and her frakking 3PM departure from JFK has not occurred yet and they list it as a 2 hr and 20 min flight.

Apparently the flight departed at 323PM, despite being listed as "awaiting take-off" at 340 or 350. The flight time is padded, err, listed as 2:20 but is now scheduled to arrive at 519PM. WTH?

The time from pushing off from the gate until actual take off is included in the total flight time. Every industry has its standards and SOP. Counting time this way is part of the airlines SOP..... time from push off until take off has to be accounted for somehow.devildeac wrote:Apparently the flight departed at 323PM, despite being listed as "awaiting take-off" at 340 or 350. Anxiety gone. I know when Son-of returned from a long stay in South Africa, it was similar to the expectations one feels when awaiting birth, and then that magic moment arrives. That feeling of what you love and feel totally responsible for their safe-being, actually being safe. A father will, at this time most of all, be spoiling that child.
