5 1/2 hour layover until 10 AM, the scheduled departure time for their next flight, with JFK their destination. I guess the group will be dividing up now as I'm sure some will fly to other locations to arrive at their home destinations. I'll post the flight # a bit later for all you night PWs who want to track it. It's scheduled to depart Amsterdam at 4 AM EST

Re: Uganda trip and cheerleader daughter
She had about an 8 1/2 hour overnight flight from Entebbe, Uganda to Amsterdam so hopefully she slept a few hours on that segment of the journey. I'd guess she sleeps an hour or two in the Amsterdam airport and then 2-3 hours on her flight to JFK tomorrow AM. she will have some serious time zone adjustments to make tomorrow evening/night when she returns home.captmojo wrote:She'd better get some of thatdevildeac wrote:5 1/2 hour layover...

I know you and Mrs. DD are excited and anxious. Just imagining her en route must make it hard to sleep tonight. Many happy vibes coming your way for safe travel and joyous reunion! Hug her for all of us. We're proud of all of you.

Re: Uganda trip and cheerleader daughter
Honestly, not much trouble sleeping. Woke up at about 4 AM but went back to sleep fairly easily. The flight from Amsterdam is in the air and due at JFK about 1 PM today. I feel like a little kid though on the night before Christmas. Waiting.Ima Facultiwyfe wrote:I know you and Mrs. DD are excited and anxious. It is small but she has a window, aisle AND cockpit seat all at the same time.YmoBeThere wrote:I clicked the link, that's am mighty small plane she's in and not the normal Delta colors either.devildeac wrote:I have taken most of the afternoon off to be sure I will be at RDU along with other "interested parties."CathyCA wrote: That's way cool!

Dang, that plane doesn't really look as small as YMo said. It covers part of 3 states and Nova Scotia now.devildeac wrote:You can locate Claire here now:
