That might just be one of the greatest posts of all time. Look at what you had for dinner and what you call your Mondays, then look at your avatar picture!Miles wrote:Kelly and I go for Meatless Mondays.

We're going to have verrrry interesting hamburgers. I tried grinding my own chuck with the new VitMix......overdid it a bit much. It turned out to be chuck roast pate ! (can't make that little accent on the e). They're gonna be so smooth they might slide off the bun! Can't wait to hear the dinner table commentary!

Sorry I've been away from this thread for a while. I heard rave reviews on his b'day dinner!Miles wrote:Tomorrow we're celebrating my dad's birthday. I'm preparing:
Steak aux Champignons
Roasted Fingerlings
and I'm still not sure for the greens. Any ideas? Dad hates spinach, which is a bummer because I can imagine wilted spinach in duck fat would be perfect.

Last week Goodberry's set up 2 tables in the Wachovia lobby in downtown Raleigh and were giving away cups of frozen custard to anyone who walked in. They only had vanilla or chocolate, but they offered all the toppings! YUM!devildeac wrote: There's a frozen custard chain in the Raleigh area modeled after Ted Drewe's, called Goodberry's. They are related somehow by family or friends. We can make it a Ted Drewe's/Goodberry's frozen custard thread...
