Poll skew for my brother's dog
My brother's dog, Hobart (almost as awesome as Walter) is going to be featured as the "Pet of the Month" in the July issue of Atlanta Magazine. He's currently up in a gallery of pets where you can vote on how cute they are. Right now, he's 8th out of about 10 pages of dogs. Won't you pwease help us and vote for a sweet wittle pup?
I think this is a clean link (thanks, Sue, for the Facebook heads-up):

A few things:
1. Naturally I voted for Hobart, who is a fantastic-looking dog.
2. There are 2 cats on that page.
3. Zorra (I think that was the name) is downright gorgeous.

Thanks! Aside from being so cute, Hobart really is the sweetest gentleman of a dog I know (Walter, while indomitably sweet, is *ahem* not always quite as well-behaved as I hope he'll someday be).Sue71 wrote:NP. I voted twice. Hobart is cute.

Is Hobart named after the port city in Tasmania, where there's a PIRATES BAY?

There has to be an easier way to skew the voting than to continually clear out the Atlanta Magazine cookies so I can vote for Hobart multiple times.

Re: Poll skew for my brother's dog
It is RIDICULOUS that that dog is only a 5.9. Those people are idiots. Everybody votes for those annoying, tiny, yippy dogs that to me are just ugly and should be eaten by "real" dogs. We need to go through and vote a "1" for all those dogs. If it needs a pink ribbon in its freakin' hair and you carry it around everywhere you go in your purse (I'm looking at you, Paris Hilton), it's NOT a dog. Sorry, rant over. People are certainly allowed to have and love those animals as pets, but please don't call them "dogs" around me. You can have small "dogs", don't get me wrong. But they need to be treated as a dog should be treated, or else they're more like overgrown gerbils.

"Hobart" is actually the last name of the man from whom my brother got Hobart. Originally, his name was "Jolo," after the town in West Virginia where he was born. Upon my brother's return, I informed him that the original "second place name" was far better, and my mother concurred, so we all changed his name to Hobart.Lavabe wrote:Is Hobart named after the port city in Tasmania, where there's a PIRATES BAY?

I was thinking he was named after the protagonist in The Iron Giant but then realized the kid's name is Hogarth, not Hobart.CameronBornAndBred wrote: I was thinking he was named after a meat slicer.
Yes, this is PWing. I voted, though.
