Well, if they had any sense, they (a) knew this was a possibility going in and (b) drafted a serviceable backup. For example, in my public league, my week 1 opponent had him, but drafted Eli Manning as a backup. Favre is one of about eight elite QBs for FFB. There's a tier with Rodgers/Brees/Peyton and maybe Schaub. There's another tier with Rivers/Romo/Brady/, and Favre. After that, there's a dropoff. I think some people are taking him as a calculated risk, and most of them have a guy in the 10-14 range as an insurance plan.TillyGalore wrote:What happens to the poor schlubs who did pick Favre in FFL? ESPN is now reporting (with Favre audio to prove it), that Favre is saying he will definitely play if his ankle holds up. I crap thee not. Unbelievable. No wait, quite believable.

Agreed. At this point, there is so much that if one holds anger in their heart, they're likely to have a heart attack. Now, it's just a cartoon that I get to watch without it being a Saturday morning.throatybeard wrote:Interview conducted through the window of an idling monster truck, Brett sporting stylish camo chapeau.EarlJam wrote:ESPN is now reporting (with Favre audio to prove it), that Favre is saying he will definitely play if his ankle holds up. I wonder if we should merge this thread with last year's Bret Fav-ruh thread.bjornolf wrote:Told ya.
Maybe we should also merge the wilson thread with the virus thread.

Merge it with any shitty thread on the board. Oh, that's right, there are none! Leave it alone.

Most people say that is it is the intellect which makes a great scientist. They are wrong: it is character.

That's actually where I got my banning post. I was almost certain I read a mod on that old thread threatening to ban people. I just thought it would be funny to do the same.Lavabe wrote:I wonder if we should merge this thread with last year's Bret Fav-ruh thread.bjornolf wrote:Told ya.
