Re: WTF happened to over yonder?!
Miles, I agree in general, but really, this time around it was DBR that threw the salvo. Hell, they even brought up my name in a recent post. Talk about beating a dead horse. DBR beat it quite heavily the other day. I suppose I, we, are guilty for beating it in turn. I for one am also tired of beating it. It's a bad habit but it can feel so good at times, even if I feel guilty about it after I do it.windsor wrote:Miles wrote:I'm ready to stop reading about DBR and "over yonder". I'm ready for people here to move on and quit complaining. I'll still love you all if you choose to keep it going but I do really hope that one day, CTN will be free of critiques, criticisms, and complaints about DBR.
At least for today, I vow not to beat it (the dead horse, that is).

Yeah. Their front page is still a great place to quickly pick up information about Duke, and it still has that familiar feeling.windsor wrote:Miles wrote:I'm ready to stop reading about DBR and "over yonder". For many of us, I think DBR is a dead horse. It's time to stop beating it.
With love and respect. Go Duke.
I agree completely.
I look forward to the day where references to the DBR are links to threads of general interest (ie: "Duke finds way to clone past players...beginning with class of 2028 all duke players will be clones of previous players") not 'did you see what those $%^$%^ did now'.

Re: WTF happened to over yonder?!
Miles is completely correct. Here's what I'll do...I'm going to lock this thread. Any further criticisms of over yonder should be made over yonder, in the open or in a PM to one of the mods..just as we would do here. It's not much fun to get into a hassle..so let's get back to being the best site we can be...which is enjoying ourselves for being ourselves. Any questions or problems..send me and the other mods a PM.windsor wrote:Miles wrote:I'm ready to stop reading about DBR and "over yonder". I'm ready for people here to move on and quit complaining. Thanks for the idea Miles.
P.S....I take full credit since I started this thread..I never intended it to go in the direction that it did. My bad.
