Thanks to Lawgrad91 for a job well done...luckily she didn't have to get out of her La-Z-Boy. She has chosen Bjornolf to take her green jacket. Lawgrad91 will be around for a bit longer as the two new mods get used to their chairs.

An excellent choice. I'll bet he starts to PW a bit more now that he is required to read every word (or groups of letters that are supposed to be/resemble words) that that is posted here . I know I did.CameronBornAndBred wrote:Thanks to Lawgrad91 for a job well done...luckily she didn't have to get out of her La-Z-Boy. She has chosen Bjornolf to take her green jacket. Speaking of which, has anyone noticed we have some TRULY offensive little guys? I just noticed these the other day. Should we get rid of these? I can't really imagine an instance where someone could use them without offending SOMEBODY. There's a contest! Can anybody think of a way to use these non-offensively? The only way I could think for the first two would be if somebody were getting screwed over at work, like say, "I usually want somebody to buy me dinner before doing THAT to me."

I wasn't offended by them because I didn't know what they represented. Then I ran my cursor over them and I saw their names. Oh.my.

Is it sad that I knew what they meant the second I saw them? I guess I still have the mind of an adolescent. Either that, or hanging out with my kids all day has cause my emotional age to drop to the average of mine and theirs.CathyCA wrote: Oh.my.

See that, I knew I was gonna cause controversy the second I got my jacket!

The last one can be used any time there might be a mention of Ted Neugent. He used to reference that type of activity quite frquently.bjornolf wrote:Is it sad that I knew what they meant the second I saw them? I guess I still have the mind of an adolescent. It's not sad that you knew their meanings. Could it be possible the actions any of them represent might be responsible to leading you to have those beautiful kids you have? Could it be possible those same actions have resulted in the rest of us existing on this planet?

This is obviously a scene from "There Will Be Blood". That's Daniel Plainview jumping up and down behind his son and that's oil spewing from the earth.
Poor guy in the front is choking and the guy in the back is giving the Heimlich maneuver. Looks exhausting.
This guy has a goiter. And for some reason, it inspires him to yodle.

As in the sports motif, I don't red card the person who started it. I bring out the red card for the person who unnecessarily piles on.Miles wrote:Better confer with your fellow mod. He started it. ;)Lavabe wrote:I'm beginning to get my red card.
