I'm sorry for the loss of your father - It leaves such a big hole.

I haven't gotten back to the article - made it to page 2. We were very fortunate in the doctors we worked with as they understood the quality of life issue. If anyone is looking for a gerontologist in the Kansas City area, I have one I would recommend. His partner shares his philosophy - as I learned from a client dealing with an aging mother-in-law.
